I shall start with last Tuesday. I went to watch ‘Kung Fu Panda’ with my two sis straight after my Physic’s tuition. My tuition ended at 6.45pm and the movie started at 7pm, so we only had our dinner after that…but my sis brought breads into the cineplex to make sure that we will not be like the hungry panda…hahaha…:) (For your information: no outside food is allowed in the auditorium)
Kung Fu Panda is the best animation movie that I had ever watched…
“Kung Fu Panda” features Jack Black as Po the Panda, a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant, who is a kung fu fanatic but whose shape doesn’t exactly lend itself to kung fu fighting. In fact, Po’s defining characteristic appears to be that he is the laziest of all the animals in ancient China. That’s a problem because powerful enemies are at the gates, and all hopes have been pinned on a prophesy naming Po as the “Chosen One” to save the day. A group of martial arts masters are going to need a black belt in patience if they are going to turn this slacker panda into a kung fu fighter before it’s too late.
“there is no charge for awesomeness or attractiveness”-Po in his dream

Last Friday was the state level military band competition in Ipoh. Around 6 something in the morning, my house phone suddenly rang.(never expect to receive any phone call that early). My mom picked up and it was Mr.Tan, who wanted the school band’s past achievements and history.(From what I heard, he phoned Mr.Ling KN around 3am…Woah!!!) He asked whether the school EB computer had any of them. But, so sorry I can’t help much cause there isn’t any. Our school band rented 3 buses (2 bas persiaran and 1 bas sekolah) as the musical instruments, uniforms and other stuffs required alot of space.
Me and Juhann went together with the band members as helpers(kuli and photographer) and were arranged to sit in the bas sekolah. During the journey, there was not much talking as many of them were sleeping so soundly but I was much much awake cause I normally don’t sleep in bus. (According to some research, the percentage of surviving in a freak accident is low if you are sleeping when the accident happens.) EB just bought a new camera so I experimented on it and took some photos of sleeping people. The way they sleep was really unique and I wish I could post them…;)
We reached Perak Stadium at around 10am and our school band had their rehearsal. After that, we went to Jusco to eat our lunch. Sushi? too expensive…McDonald? eat ’sien’ d…KFC? chicken again…:S…so, guess where did we ended up.
Yeah, it’s FOODCOURT!!!
After having ‘cheap, filling, not oily’ food, we went window shopping. (It’s better to shop with your family than to shop with your friend…agree?)…:D…Window shopping is kinda boring so why don’t we go to CAPCOM station (here) for the next 1 hour. I did’t play but just loiter around and watch others play. (Juhann and See Chew enjoyed the air hockey very much till I lost count how many round did they played)
Later, we went to YMCA to take some rest and ‘bong-bong’ (bathe)…We had our dinner there too then we proceed to the stadium. We met Winnie and Yvonne there as many had knew that they were studying in Sam Tet but are back in ACS [(here) and (here)]. Juhann wore red shirt and I wore pink. Yvonne told Juhann that red colour is Sam Tet’s colour…:-S…But what to do, takkan want us to change meh…no matter what, we always support ACS—”Together we made ACS great, Together we made ACS proud”
Juhann and I found a very suitable place to take photos and videos of bands performing. It’s the highest platform of the grandstand which lead to the roof of the main entrance. Something funny happened there and only two of us know about it. I shall keep it a secret…:P
The competition started at 8.30pm sharp. 6 schools (Ave Maria Convent, Sam Tet and Perak Girls School, from Ipoh, Nan Hwa and ACS, from Sitiawan, San Min from Teluk Intan) participated. Ave Maria started off with a bang but Nan Hwa ended the day in a bang bang…The result:champion-Nan Hwa, second-Ave Maria and 3rd-Perak Girls School. Everything ended around 11 something. Here’s the interesting part when I got the chance to step on the stadium’s grass where Perak’s football team’s players play their home game in Malaysia League.
Time to head home. When we were on our way home, our bus was stopped by a patrol police car for unidentified reason. We reached home safely around 1 something, luckily we didn’t ended up in the police lock-up…haha…;)

Korean singers from…definitely from Korea lah
came to my church last Monday. I was asked to help them to set-up their stuff in the afternoon. Although we had language barrier, hand signs did help much to understand what they need. Luckily, 2 or 3 of them (interpreter, violinist and a singer who sang the ‘Passion’ song) can converse in English quite well. We had dinner together in the church.
I ponteng chinese tuition to attend this event, so did Natalie and Tiffany…:)…The night was fun and interesting with loads of solo (saxophone, bass guitar, electric guitar, ,drum, violin….) I was happy to see many new faces there. Indeed God is doing something in Sitiawan’s youths.
Welcome back Darly. Daryl came back from Ausralia and reached Sitiawan around 6.30pm and rushed to church to catch the Korean singers. He was supposedly to come back earlier. More stories (here).

I went to watch another movie yesterday with my sis and her friends. We watched ‘Wanted’ on its opening…cool man…this is the 1st time I watch a movie on its opening…:)…This movie is really awesome and MUST WATCH!!! Must watch scenes: car chasing, car moving on its rim, unexpected shot that will make you jump up of your chair, curved bullet, dead pig hanging everywhere, time bomb’s mouse…
25-year-old Wesley Gibson(James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut. Until he met a woman named Fox. After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox(Angelina Jolie) recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad’s death by unlocking his dormant powers. As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. With wickedly brilliant tutors–including the Fraternity’s enigmatic leader, Sloan(Morgan Freeman)–Wes grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted. But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one could ever teach him: he alone controls his destiny.
All in all, two Angelina Jolie movies (Tigress in Kung Fu Panda and Fox in Wanted) in two weeks…not that I like her, it’s just coincidence…;)
Later, in Physics tuition, I recommended my friends to watch ‘Wanted’. But, debate started when they are undecided when to watch. “Watch at night lah, more romantic”….”Don’t want lah, watch in the afternoon is cheaper”. There they goes…indeed it’s cheaper to watch in the afternoon if you show them your student card (RM 5)…You can watch 3 movies in the afternoon compared to 2 at night. By the way, my sis and Jia YI showed their ACS student card and their height blinded the operator…haha…:P
This is my 100th post and I shall give a surprise………….
Am I wanted?
