I, hereby, as a citizen of Perak Darul Ridzuan, urge all Perakians to show your support to Perak’s Pakatan Rakyat by attending the gathering which is going to be held tonight at Perak Stadium at 7.30pm. Show the Barisan Nasional’s idiots and morons that we had enough of frogs jumping around and be a man with balls to face by-election and let them lose kao-kao (quote from a friend)

“Mohd Nizar tells the press conference that he would not resign from his post as the menteri besar. He urged the people to back his Pakatan government.” – malaysiakini

YB Menteri Besar, you’re the man. This is the first Menteri Besar I met face-to -face even before he was sworn-in as the Menteri Besar. I saw him at the nomination center in Sri Manjung last general election last March. For your infomation, he is the Pasir Panjang ADUN, which is under Lumut constituent. You might wonder how come I was there. That was because I followed my dad, who had to propose Ngeh Koo Ham as the candidate for Sitiawan’s DUN. I used to like politics and talks politics thingy with friends, listen to the ‘sermons’ by my all time favourite Sejarah teacher and so on. Recently, Rajivanna told me that his Malaysian Studies’ lecturer is far more pro in giving sermons. Yeah Raji is one of my ‘politics and bola’ kakis.

But to be honest after watching the movie ‘what a girl wants’ in youtube not long ago, somehow I lost interest in politics slightly. No matter what, we know that Perak will only prosper and develop under the Pakatan Rakyat. Barisan Nasional will only bring disaster into this state. Be steadfast and know that God is always with the Pakatan Pakyat’s leaders.

PS: Barisan Nasional, please respect the mandate given by us as Perakians to the Pakatan Rakyat, or else we have to say bye-bye to you and bury you in the next general election.

May God Almighty bless Pakatan Rakyat and Perak.

Happy Chinese Niu 牛 Year to everyone!!! It’s the Year of the Ox @ Cow @ Bull. I’m proud and blessed to be born a Malaysian Chinese. God had planned in such an amazing way by bringing my great-grandparents and grandparents from China to this wonderful Promise Land, which is free from natural disaster, decades ago. I really salute them for their endurance to braved the South China Sea to come to a small village not far from Sitiawan called Kampong Cina, where everyone is of ‘Hock Qiang’ clan. I do speak the dialect but it’s something like Americans trying to speak Japanese…hahaha 😉

I think this is the first year I’m celebrating CNY without any worries of schoolwork and exams…hahaha…anyway I’m glad to see my friends who are back from colleges, Jeremiah School, National Service…I noticed some changes especially in pysical-wise…maybe the food elsewhere is not as good as in Sitiawan or they had been fed with 6 meals daily in NS…hahaha 😛

Do people nowadays still write CNY cards? Nope is my answer. The reason is very simple I had received loads of smses even before the clock struck 12am this morning. But of coz those CNY wishes didn’t come through smses only, they came through MSN, Friendster and Facebook as well. Thanks so much for all the wishes especially the ones comes from friends of different races like Aryati, Khairani, Firdaus, Prashan, Rajivanna, Sailesh, Karam Singh and many many many more…haha…I appreciate them alot man 😀 I guess my secondary education in ACS is indeed a blessing from God, though I’m supposedly to be a Nan Hwa student. Before I end my post, I wanna post a SHOUTOUT ‘I’m proud of ACS and Malaysia Boleh’…does that ring a bell to ACS students who have a copy of ACS’ school magazine, The Loyal Pioneer 2008? 😀

Happy Chinese New Year 2009 once again!!!

Here’s some good info about Ox from Wikipedia:

The Ox is the sign of prosperity through fortitude and hard work. This powerful sign is a born leader, being quite dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things. As one might guess, such people are dependable, calm, and modest. Like their animal namesake, the Ox is unswervingly patient, tireless in their work, and capable of enduring any amount of hardship without complaint.

Ox people need peace and quiet to work through their ideas, and when they have set their mind on something it is hard for them to be convinced otherwise. An Ox person has a very logical mind and is extremely systematic in whatever they do, though they have a tremendous imagination and an unparalleled appreciation for beauty. These people speak little but are extremely intelligent. When necessary, they are articulate and eloquent.

People born under the influence of the Ox are kind, caring souls, logical, positive, filled with common sense and with their feet firmly planted on the ground. Security is their main preoccupation in life, and they are prepared to toil long and hard in order to provide a warm, comfortable and stable nest for themselves and their families. Strong-minded, stubborn, individualistic, the majority are highly intelligent individuals who don’t take kindly to being told what to do.

The Ox works hard, patiently, and methodically, with original intelligence and reflective thought. These people enjoy helping others. Behind this tenacious, laboring, and self-sacrificing exterior lies an active mind.

The Ox is not extravagant, and the thought of living off credit cards or being in debt makes them nervous. The possibility of taking a serious risk could cause the Ox sleepless nights.

Ox people are truthful and sincere, and the idea of wheeling and dealing in a competitive world is distasteful to them. They are rarely driven by the prospect of financial gain. These people are always welcome because of their honesty and patience. They are reputed to be the most beautiful of face in the zodiac. They have many friends, who appreciate the fact that the Ox people are wary of new trends, although every now and then they can be encouraged to try something new. People born in the year of the Ox make wonderful parents and teachers of children.

It is important to remember that the Ox people are sociable and relaxed when they feel secure, but occasionally a dark cloud looms over such people and they engage all the trials of the whole world and seek solutions for them.

Hey guys, I’m so sorry for not continuing my story on Youth Camp for the past weeks.  This is because the photos and videos are not with me right now. I know that u guys had been waiting patiencely, excitingly & anxiously to see photos and videos of ur pretty and handsome faces in our camp very first MTV (U guys did pretty good and I think most of u have the God-gifted potential to appear in MTV of David Archuleta lar, Jay Chou lar, Wang Lee Hom lar, Siti Nurhaliza lar, S.H.E lar, too many till I can’t name them all here, Hahaha) (Mind u, David Archuleta has a really really good voice and u must listen to his songs, I never felt bored listen to them over and over again though there are some disturbances in few songs like a lady’s voice suddenly appears and said 3 words, guess what did she said…it’s not ‘I love you’ or ‘U are beautiful’ but it’s ‘Music on demand’…lesson learnt is never download songs when it’s fresh from oven…hahaha…IF can, buy original lah, but i still couldn’t find the stores selling his self-titled album…at first I was(roughly 8 or 9 months ago) a huge fan of David Cook but something happened…oh ya I recall something happened back then, I remember I argued with someone who is a super fan of DA from the very first time this person saw him in America’s Idol…guess what was the issue? It’s the title of the song that he sang on America’s Idol…no doubt this person knows him best and I lost…hahaha…I admit that I’m not that good in music thingy but I think no one can match me in politics and worldly thingy and sports thingy especially football (from BPL to Serie A to La Liga to Bundesliga to Malaysia’s very own Super League) …hehehe…All thanks to ‘The Stars’ everyday, I bet many of u do not know what is this…I shall not spill the beans here, find out urself what is it…hahaha) Okay Okay, enough of CAR-BIG-CANON (direct translation of Mandarin, which means crapping)…I promise u guys that the Youth Camp story definitely will be here on or after Chinese New Year. I thought of compensating ur disappointment with the 2nd video clip done by Sien Son (or better known as LamoSien in the ACS’ Editorial Board)(more stories on this successor of mine soon, hahaha 😛  Sien, if u see this, u must be proud k…hahaha…all the best in ur undertaking yeah 😀) which was shown on the gathering nite but to my dismay I couldn’t upload it in Youtube for no reason. So, please ‘tahan’ for another week okay? 🙂

Thank God, at last it can be uploaded. Enjoy it!!! 🙂

Normally we had separate camps for IMYFers and MYFers, but this year is kinda different…Wwoooooott, we have YOUTH CAMP!!! >.<

Let me kick-off with the preparations which had brought great success for God in this Camp. Many souls were saved, transformed, renewed, refreshed…..To God be the glory!

Now we’re talking about 150 over youths, unlike previous year whereby only 70 or 80. So, we really needs alot of hard work and heart work to put everything in order. Anyway, with all the prayers that had been prayed and wisdom and provisions shown by God, we managed to make this Camp a fun-filled one. I have friends telling me that how nice if the Camp  never ends. But, if we’re just confine to a camp and don’t go out to see the world, can we do greater works for God? Of coz we can’t. There are millions of people out there who do not know God although God loves them so much. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” That’s how our theme for this Camp came about, “Purposed For God”.

Like what I had posted in my previous post, this camp was held at Port Dickson Methodist Centre. I love this place alot, the food is nice, the aunties and uncles are kind-hearted too, it’s compound is huge which is good for games, it is located by the beach which we can make everyone WET during the games…Hahaha 😛  Another plus point is that on the night before we came back, I could see stars twinkling so brightly in the clear sky. It has been quite some time since I last saw such an amazing night sky. According to Natalie, the view from the beach was like the scene in Meteor Garden by F4 because at that moment Alvin, Timothy, Derrick and Sien Son were there too trying to be as cool as F4…hahaha… Anyway, I missed the chance to see such a wonderful creation of God. Soooo sad 😦

The field

See the dog? I have loads of stories to tell regarding the ‘chemistry’ between Sitiawan youths and the dogs.

The place where we filled-up our noisy stomach 🙂

A camp isn’t a camp without a speaker. So, this year we’re so privileged to have Pastor Andy Yeoh from the ACTS church as our camp speaker. He came with his wife, JLo (not Jennifer Lopez) and Phillip the Gan. Pastor Andy is also the lead singer for “Altered Frequency”, a local Christian band which had been on air before (FlyFM). Btw, I’m a loyal FlyFM listener.

I was asked to ‘crack’ my head to think of any games that can be played in this Camp. My reaction was like ‘huh, not again?! I was part of the team last year which stayed up till wee hours to plan the games, very tiring leh!” No lar, I’m just kidding, actually it’s fun to come out with weird but enjoyable games because we know that we’re not gonna play whatever we had planned…Hahaha  😛  Thank God I have friends like Natalie, Pearly, Ruth, Chuan Sheng, Clinton, Justin and Chia Cheng to plan the games together. If not, I think my head would be ‘gone’ even before the Camp…Hahaha…Ai seh, I don’t have a picture of us, if got I’ll definitely brag about how awesome u guys were and are. 🙂 I’ll blog more about games and, the ever handsome and pretty young people in charged of the games, which is US!!! in my next post…hehehe

Now is the grouping part. We have such a big group, so we decided to divide the youths into 12 tribes, it’s like 12 or 13 to a tribe. Uncle Andrew, Megan and I were so happily writting the 150 over names on the whiteboard. In the process, I found out that there were seven Michelle signed up for this Camp. So, lesson learnt – don’t name your daughter Michelle when u’re a parent in future…HahaHa :p (Btw United States is going to have a Michelle as her First Lady pretty soon.) All of us who were involved in organizing this Camp were like trying our best to balance the strength among the tribes and Kristie and I were like kept erase and write the names from one place to the other…Hahaha

That’s the fun of serving God, no matter how do we serve God, as long as u’re bringing pleasure to Him and make Him smile. 🙂

Before I write off for this post, here is a roughly made video of the fun and joy we had in this Camp. But, don’t worry, I’ll make another one when I get all the pictures. Hey, do u guys want the tribal dance and MTV videos to be posted here? I’m more than happy to post them but I need feedback from u guys first 🙂

To be continue…..

More than 150 youths in this hall and of coz plus the ever young in hearts’ counsellors 🙂

Just to update u guys where I had been for the past 5 days…I was having alot of fun in Port Dickson Methodist Centre…like “torturing” ppl during the games and treasure hunt, Oopss, to be more accurate it should be human hunt…Hahaha…More updates, pictures and hopefully videos are coming up so please stay tune…Let’s see how energetic and purposeful for God the youths are. 🙂

27 Nov 2008, 3.15 pm sharp, upon hearing “masa menjawab tamat”, i saw Chieng(my class monitor), lifting his hands can’t wait to celebrate the ending of our last paper, EST paper 1(except those taking Accounts next Monday). We call him Chieng not because he is made of money, but because our class got two fellas with the same name, one is Chieng Tze Yuen and the other is Ding Tze Yien. We have no choice and call them by surname. Sometimes by calling him ‘Chieng’ is weird and funny, i remember someone said this before “Chieng, can i borrow some chieng(money)?” However, we are used to it already. If u don’t know who Chieng is, see the pic below, he is in front of me. Currently he is NOT single, so too bad for girls who wanna his phone number. But the others are single. Any takers? hahaha……

The other exam hall’s students were released earlier. While we were still waiting for the nod to leave the most silent place for the past three weeks once and for all, explosion of firecrackers were heard and i knew that they were already celebrating (although we were given ‘taklimat’ not to do so weeks ago by Mr.K)

Here comes our turn. Though we didn’t have firecrackers, but our “Screams of Freedom” were louder than the explosion. I missed the screams and woo-ing sound I used to hear fom my classmates. FYI my class was labelled as the noisiest class in the school. What an honour! hahaha…..i will post more about my classmates pretty soon.

Oh ya! Today is Benjamin Choo Chun Meng’s birthday. He is famous for being loud. Me and my friends came out with some ideas on ‘measuring’ his loudness. Our ideas : When he whispers, it’s equal to others speaking ; when he speaks, it’s equal to others shouting ; when he shouts, it’s equal to others speaking with PA system. But, all in all he is a nice guy.

The Birthday boy is on the right. Happy Birthday Benjamin!

Home sweet home. I played some games on my PS2, which i had not touched for quite some time. I’m glad that I still have the killing-touched in Fifa-ing and F1-ing. Is there anyone dare to challenge me? hehe….

Then, I received a sms from Khairani asking me to go for dinner at City Kopitiam with her and OTHERS (Aryati, Zulfaez, Timothy, Jef, Prashan, Sailesh, Raji, Karam, Teck Hing). I met up with them around 8. After that, we went to watch ‘Madagascar’. This is the second movie that I had watched in 2 weeks. Last Thursday (just finished my Chemistry papers), I went to watch ‘James Bond:Quatum of Solace’ with my family. 007 is not bad with the many chasing scenes on foot, car, boat and plane. They should have just add in the bicycle-chase lah. hahaha. Madagascar is really exciting, plus it has a lot of moral values. To those who have not watch, please don’t hesitate to watch. It’s worthwhile spending 9 bucks. 🙂 Prashan drove me back home with his red Land Rover after the movie. Thanks macha! Oh ya I also must thank Aryati for sending me to the cinema from kopitiam. Thanks Arya! I hope that we can meet like this as often as possible before we move on and pursue our dreams respectively. Dear all my friends, always remember ‘FRANCE’, which stands for ‘Friendship Remains And Never Can End’.

In the next few weeks, I would be busy with the Youth Camp and carolling practice. Btw, I’m gonna catch some movies which i had downloaded but didn’t have time to watch.

Happy Holidays to me and u!
